Imam Yunus
Imam Yunus is a UK-based scholar and Hafiz of the Quran. He completed seven years of Islamic studies at Darul Uloom Blackburn and Darul Uloom Bury, and holds a Diploma in Islamic Jurisprudence and Arabic Etymology from Darul Uloom Bury.
He has been teaching the Quran since becoming a Hafiz, and has conducted Nikah ceremonies across the UK since 2023. He speaks English, Arabic, Bengali and Urdu.

Common questions
Is a Nikah legally recognised in the UK?
A Nikah alone is not always recognised as a legal marriage in England and Wales. We recommend a civil ceremony or registration as well, to protect both spouses. Ask us and we'll explain your options.
How far in advance should we book a Nikah?
For Imam Yunus to conduct the Nikah in person, please book at least 3 weeks in advance. The online Nikah service can be booked with a minimum of 2 days' notice.
Who are the tutoring lessons for?
Both adults and children, though the focus is primarily on adults, as this kind of service is not commonly available to them. Once you have spoken to Imam Yunus, you will receive a free 15-minute consultation about your goals.
Is pastoral care confidential?
Yes. What you share is kept private, except where there is a serious risk of harm to you or someone else. Pastoral care supports you spiritually; it does not replace medical or mental-health treatment.
